(so as to achieve a my blog your topic) and I promptly reported the news on this blog of porting Android on an experimental Asus but now it's official because, as reported by various sources (such as DigiTimes) the president of Google Taiwan, Chien Lee-feng, in person, said that Taiwan has created a "Android Team to develop a version of Android for netbooks and to support companies that will adopt the OS Google as an alternative to Windows , which explains (as I have often said on various blogs) the sudden rush Microsoft in the development and marketing (with almost a year ahead of schedule ) of the new and much more "light" Windows 7 not only that, but, as reported by Bloomberg Asia Google initiated contacts (but pressing it would be better to call it ...) against netbooks companies to adopt Android
up some of their computer models (in alterative to Windows) and it seems that a Asus Android is already being developed and may soon be available on the market ! now it's official! Google's Android will be the OS for PCs ! --- as I've argued for months (on my blog GOOS and everywhere on the web !

Google will release soon its own FREE and open source operating system for desktop computers and laptops and now that is official , since, as reported by various sources (like DigiTimes ) the president of Google Taiwan , Chien Lee-feng, has said that an "Android Team" has been created in Taiwan to develop an Android version for netbooks and to support the PC manufacturers that want to adopt the Google OS as an alternative to Windows, which clearly explains (as I've often said on several IT blogs) the sudden Microsoft's rush in the development and release to the market (nearly one year before than planned) of its new (and much more "light") Windows 7 , also (as reported by Bloomberg Asia ) Google has launched a partnership to all netbooks' manufacturers to put the Android OS (instead of Windows) on some of their new computers, and, it seems, that Asus will be the first to sell (soon) an Android-driven netbook ! .
